Mod

The Mod (मोड़) is an important emblem in Maheshwarism and can be compared to the symbol of Om in Hinduism and symbols from other Dharmic religions. This is holy symbol contains a Trishul (trident) and in the middle prong of the Trishul there is a circle. The Om (ॐ) is in the centre of the circle. When the Maheshwari community has been originated with the blessing of Lord Mahesh and Goddess Parvati, the preceptors of Maheshwaris make this holy symbol by the advice of Lord Mahesh and Goddess Parvati. This is the sign of Maheshwaris. According to the preceptors we can get divine energy by only the sight of this symbol.
